Coral and pearls are organically derived gemstones.
Primarily composed of calcium, coral and pearls are sensitive to chemicals and acid (perspiration) and should be gently wiped clean with a soft cloth or chamois leather after use. There is no need for concern if your coral or pearl jewelry discolors or loses its sheen, as re-polishing by a specialist technician will restore its inherent and beautiful luster. Glous carries out free re-polishing within the first 12 months of purchase.

The secret to maintaining your beautiful jewelry

1. Exercise care when wearing the jewelry during humid periods when perspiration increases. (Makeup and perspiration contain high levels of acidic substances).
2. Remove when bathing. (Hot springs and bath salts contain corrosive substances)
3. Protect your jewelry from heat and detergents by removing when cooking. (Do not place near fire as pearls and coral are sensitive to heat.)
